HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR DATA?
When a drive comes to us, we take responsibility for its entire end-of-life.
Each drive is logged, assessed, and handled according to its condition and suitability for reuse. Where a drive is functional, all data is securely erased using recognised data sanitisation methods appropriate to the media industry. Where a drive is faulty or fails our baseline health assessment, it is designated for physical destruction and processed accordingly.
We do not ask our clients to make any technical decisions. The appropriate sanitisation or destruction approach is determined by us, documented, and carried through to completion. Once processing is complete, we provide certification confirming either data erasure or physical destruction. Drives that cannot be reused are dismantled and sent to appropriate recycling facilities.
The result is simple: your data is no longer your liability — and you have a clear record showing how it was handled.
