Welcome to Zerone! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services, including the collection, recycling, and resale of used hard drives from film production companies. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. General Terms
1.1. By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Collection and Data Sanitisation Services
2.1. Zerone provides the collection of used hard drives and other computer storage devices from media production and post-production companies for the purpose of secure data sanitisation and environmentally responsible recycling.
2.2. Clients may specify a preferred data sanitisation standard when booking a collection. If no standard is specified, Zerone will default to a single-pass overwrite (“one pass zeros”) without verification.
2.3. Once a hard drive has been collected and processed, the original owner forfeits all rights and claims to the device and any data that was previously stored on it.
2.4. Zerone may repurpose or recycle collected materials at its discretion, in compliance with applicable data protection and environmental regulations.
3. Limitation of Liability
3.1. Zerone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the collection, transport, or processing of devices.
3.2. While Zerone takes all reasonable measures to securely handle and sanitise data, we do not guarantee the recovery, retrieval, or verification of data erasure unless explicitly agreed upon in writing under a specific standard.
3.3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zerone disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
4. Governing Law
4.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
4.2. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through arbitration or the appropriate courts in England and Wales.
4.3. This agreement complies with UK consumer protection and data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, where applicable.
