1. General Terms
1.1. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Collection and Recycling Services
2.1. We collect used hard drives and other computer devices from media production, post-production and IT companies for the purpose of recycling or resale.
2.2. All collected hard drives undergo a thorough data erasure process before being resold or repurposed.
2.3. Once a hard drive has been collected and processed, the original owner forfeits all rights and claims to the device and any data that was previously stored on it.
3. Resale of Hard Drives
3.1. All hard drives intended for resale are thoroughly inspected and tested to ensure they are in working condition.
3.2. Despite our rigorous testing, hard drives—both new and used—are prone to faults, corruption, or failure at any time. The buyer acknowledges this inherent risk when purchasing a used hard drive.
3.3. If a buyer identifies any issue with a purchased hard drive, they must file a report with us within 24 hours of receipt. After this period, we will not be liable for any defects, malfunctions, or failures.
4. Limitation of Liability
4.1. We do not guarantee that any hard drive purchased from us will have a specific lifespan or be free from faults, as hard drives can fail unpredictably.
4.2. We are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or damages resulting from the use of a hard drive purchased through our platform.
4.3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Returns and Refunds
5.1. Refunds or exchanges will only be considered if a defect is reported within 24 hours of receipt and verified by our team.
5.2. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion and may be subject to restocking or processing fees.
5.3. This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which grants buyers the right to request refunds or replacements if goods are found to be faulty within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Governing Law
6.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
6.2. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through arbitration or the appropriate courts in England and Wales.
6.3. This agreement complies with UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Sale of Goods Act 1979, where applicable.
